Subject: Badlands III
I decided to take a drive around the West side of
the park, through a very very small town on the reservation to get gas, and
then back up through the middle of the park. Here is a shot of the drive
down the West side of the park.
The town was a little scary, here is one of the
local saloons (when I say town, maybe 25 structures total)
Had a great drive, saw some cool scenery and
burned up a couple of rolls of film along the way. Headed back to the
campsite, I stopped at the prairie dog town to take some pictures....
After leaving the prairie dog town, I got stuck in
a traffic jam for about 20 minutes....
This of course being a much better traffc jam to
be stuck in than the kind I am used to on I-64 and I-95. After shooting
a few more rolls of film, the Bison decided to move on and I was free to head
back to the campsite, where I hoped to run into some of my new friends....
